Spa Water factory looks to expand
HARROGATE Spa Water is looking to build an extension to its warehouse at Harlow Moor Road.
It says the expansion to the northwest of the light industrial site would ultimately create 10 new jobs.
The company, which employs 35 people full-time and is one of the top 10 bottled water brands in the UK, also wants to erect a canopy over its loading bay.
Its factory currently covers 16,150ft sq. The new covered area would be 1,709m sq, with a canopy at the rear over a further 635m sq.
In its statement, the company said: “Due to our limited storage space, our business model is under pressure and becoming increasingly flawed.”
It bottled over 57 million units in 2010.

Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 03:16 PMIf things are going well for the company, how about giving something back to the community. Viewing areas inside the factory and a picnic area with a barbecue area outside. The smell of bangers and burgers sizzling away in the Summer breeze and bright sunshine.mmmmmmmmm niyce. A few beans and chicken legs would be nice. where is claude when u need him?

Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:39 AMgive planning permission as soon as u can. it does more to spread the name of Harrogate than anything the Council could fund. And all in a positive way. Jobs and prestige, wot more could Harrogate wish for. A good reputation also helps harrogate house prices
