Boycotting buses is no good

From: Name and address supplied.

WITH reference to the letter by Dr Ray Clare in the Knaresborough Post dated August 28, I felt so incensed by the stupid idea that boycotting the bus services would lead to Transdev Harrogate & District re-instating the bus services.

Boycotting the bus services is not the answer, as that could lead to losing our bus services altogether and leave many people out of jobs.

I think the way forward is to use the buses more often and perhaps buses would be re-instated eventually - Use It or Lose It being the obvious case here.

I also think that Peter Ingham (Rainbow Travel) stated the case very well in his letter. I do hope that people will not take Dr Clare’s advice as I for one do not want to lose our good bus service to Knaresborough even if we will have to walk home from town sometimes.
